The Argument
What if time has the same structure as space?
Physics has three spatial dimensions. Every theory since Einstein has been built on the assumption that time is singular — one dimension, one direction, one now. The assumption fits the data we have. It doesn't fit the data we can't explain.
Quantime takes the simplest possible extension of that assumption: what if time, like space, has three dimensions? Not as metaphor. Not as speculation. As a geometric fact with testable consequences — consequences that happen to coincide precisely with the three anomalies the Standard Model refuses to explain.
The argument is made carefully enough to be wrong.

The Author
Salar Golestanian
Salar Golestanian left Iran in 1972, completed his undergraduate physics at the University of Surrey, and began a PhD in semiconductor physics at Brunel University in 1979, under Professor Hogarth. Two years in, his experimental results were turning negative, and the work could no longer be pursued honestly. He told Hogarth he was leaving. Hogarth, rather than letting two years of careful research disappear, suggested he write up the work as an MPhil. The MPhil was awarded in 1983. The PhD was not. Hogarth, who had warned him that dropping out would close the door on physics for good, was right.
The next four decades were spent building software businesses and raising a family — useful work, but not the work he meant to do. Quantime is the work he meant to do. It is a book about time, quantum mechanics, and the unfinished problem of how the universe actually fits together. The Standard Model has glitches it cannot explain. String Theory has produced no experimental proof in over fifty years. He does not claim to have solved any of this — only that the missing piece is one we have been overlooking, and that the argument deserves to be made carefully enough for others to decide whether it holds water.
He is, in other words, doing the homework he set himself when he was twenty-one — with the patience of someone in his sixties, and with a quiet wish to write back to Professor Hogarth, forty-odd years late, with the answer.
